Shireen Omarshah, has two decades of experience in the mining industry, and holds a diverse background which includes journalism, academia and legal practice. She obtained her BL (Hons), LLB from the University of Zimbabwe and LLM from the University of Cambridge.

Shireen served briefly as a prosecutor and has practised law at various firms. She has also lectured law part-time before entering the insurance industry. Notably, she chaired and served as a consultant to various insurance and pension committees. Shireen has vast experience in the mining sector, serving as the Company Secretary and Legal Advisor for 2 of the biggest mining companies in Zimbabwe.
