Mike was a partner of Honey & Blanckenberg from 1993 to 2004 and has been a consultant with the firm since July 2004.

Prior to 1993 he was Corporate Secretary and Legal Adviser of the former Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority for 19 years and for 12 years from 1963 to 1975 he headed the legal division of the City of Salisbury (now Harare).

Mike’s areas of practice are corporate, commercial, parastatal and local authority advice and drafting; establishment of family trusts; formation of companies; advice on content and effect of Zimbabwe statutes and subsidiary legislation; and environmental law.

In his spare time Mike has served since 1993 as Editor of Heritage of Zimbabwe the annual journal of the History Society of Zimbabwe and has served since 1971 as Editor of Excelsa and Ingens Bulletin publications of the Succulent Society of Zimbabwe.
