Sara Moyo

BL (Honours)  LLB (University of Zimbabwe)

Sara is a Partner in the law firm Honey & Blanckenberg.

Sara heads the Patents Department of Honey & Blanckenberg’s Intellectual Property Law Practice where she advises local and international clients on all aspects of intellectual property law.

She prosecutes applications for registration of industrial property rights in Zimbabwe and ARIPO and conducts litigation in intellectual property matters.

Sara is the President of the Zimbabwe Institute of Patent and Trademark Agents (ZIPTA) and is  a member of the TOPC OAPI/ARIPO Subcommittee of the International Trademark Association (INTA).


Sara is Chairperson of Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association (ZWLA) and is a Board member of the Institute of Creative Arts for Progress (ICAPA).

She is also a member of the following professional bodies:

•    Law Society of Zimbabwe
•    Licensing Executives Society of South Africa
•    International Bar Association



Dave Rosser

BL   LLB (Rhodesia)

Dave is a Partner in the Conveyancing Department at Honey & Blanckenberg. He holds BL and LLB degrees from the University of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe).

Dave has been practising with Honey & Blanckenberg for more than three decades. He is the Head of the Conveyancing Department and specialises in the conveyance of immovable property and the registration of mortgage bonds and notarial general covering bonds.




David Drury

BA LLB (University of Pietermaritzburg)

David is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Honey and Blanckenberg and has over 30 years of experience. He holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Pietermaritzburg (now the University of Natal).

David commenced legal practice as a Public Prosecutor and also worked at the Attorney-General’s office for several years. He then moved into private practice when he joined Gollop & Blank, where he became a partner. He joined Honey & Blanckenberg in 2012.

David was a founding member of Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights. He also represented several clients in the first Zimbabwean case at the SADC Tribunal in 2007 and 2008.

His areas of specialty include civil and criminal litigation, property law rights, indigenization  law and human rights law.


Chris Kimberley

BL (Honours) LLB (Zimbabwe)

Chris is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Law Department at Honey & Blanckenberg. Chris holds BL (Honours) and LLB degrees from the University of Zimbabwe.

After graduating from law school, Chris initially worked in industry for a corporate in the board and paper sector and then joined an accounting firm  where he handled commercial matters such as tax.

Chris then joined the Intellectual Property practice of Galloway & Co. (Zimbabwe) which was subsequently acquired by Honey & Blanckenberg in 2003.


Sarudzayi Njerere

BA  LLB (University of Cape Town)

Sarudzayi is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Honey & Blanckenberg. She holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Sarudzayi commenced her legal career in 1997 as a Public Prosecutor, rising to the position of Law Officer in the Attorney General’s Office. In 2002 she joined Honey & Blanckenberg.

Sarudzayi specialises in both Civil and Criminal litigation. Her areas of practice include commercial law, family law, lease agreements, constitutional and human rights law, labour law and administrative law.

Sarudzayi is the Deputy Chairperson of Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights and a part time lecturer of Roman-Dutch Law at the University of Zimbabwe.


Batanai Peresuh

LLB (Zimbabwe) LLM (Stellenbosch)

Batanai is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Honey & Blanckenberg. He holds a LLB degree from the University of Zimbabwe and an LLM from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Prior to joining Honey & Blanckenberg in 2009, Batanai worked in private practice.

Batanai’s areas of practice at Honey & Blanckenberg include trade and commercial law, labour law, and general litigation.
